About Me
Welcome to First Grade at Willow Creek Elementary. My name is Jen Brown and I have been teaching for over 15 years, most recently here in First Grade. The bulk of my career was teaching 3rd Grade. I have enjoyed the transition and I am excited to be your child's teacher. I believe in teaching the whole child and lead my classroom with the community agreements of respect, trust, kindness, hard work, and appreciation.
I am a Boise native and have recently moved to Nampa and live with my boyfriend James. We have three beautiful dogs whom we consider to be our children. Semper, Sophie, and River are wonderful companions and I'm sure you will hear many stories about them all. This year is going to be full of learning, joy, perseverance, and community. Let's work together to make it the best yet!
