About Me
Hey there!! My name is Raychel Gustin and I absolutely love my job and teaching kindergarten! I can not wait to have your child in my class!
This is my 6th year teaching and my 4th year here teaching at Willow Creek. I grew up in Utah and graduated from Weber State University with two bachelor degrees in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I enjoy teaching this age because they are so full of love and forgiveness. I love seeing the growth each child shows through the year and seeing each lightbulb go on when they get a new concept. I love doing art and science in the classroom! Hands on learning is my favorite kind of learning! My goal with these children is to develop a love of learning at this young age to lay that strong foundation to help them later on in their schooling when days might not be as easy.
I enjoy getting into shenanigans,
watching and playing sports, going to CrossFit and working out, doing things outside when it's warm, especially paddle boarding, playing card and board games, and taking care of my houseplants. My family is very important to me. I have two children, Reese and Calum. We love going on outdoor adventures like camping and hiking, attending sporting events, and traveling with our extended family. You can catch me and my family at a ballpark, football stadium, or basketball court each weekend keeping us busy.
