About Me
Hi, I'm Mrs. Petersen. I have been teaching for 15 years. I began my teaching career in Texas, then moved to Nevada. I have been here at Willow Creek for 6 years. I spent the first 3 years teaching First Grade, before becoming the English Language (EL) specialist. I work with students in Kindergarten, First and Fifth grades. The best part of my job is being able to work in multiple classrooms every day.
I've been married to my husband, Mr. Petersen, for over 25 years. We have one son together that attends the University of Idaho - Go Vandals! As a family we love going to explore new places together. When I am not as school or with my family, I enjoy hanging out with my friends. We love to hike, paddle board and roller skate together.
