About Me

Welcome to Kindergarten at Willow Creek. I am excited to start this new school year and help your child develop a love of learning. This is 8th year teaching at Willow Creek, 6th year in Kindergarten. My favorite part of kindergarten is watching children master their letter names and sounds and begin to read. The excitement and pride they feel in those moments is beyond compare. This is going to be an amazing year with lots of learning in Language Arts, Math and Social Emotional Development. For many of your kids this will be their first experience learning in a structured environment. This year will be full of big emotions and we will work together to understand them and learn how do deal with them more effectively. My goal is to use all my skills and strategies to help your child excel and grow while having as much fun as possible.  

 

I have 2 boys of my own, Kobe and Ethan. Kobe is 22 and Ethan is 21. When we have time, we enjoy hiking, walking along the greenbelt, swimming, paddle boarding and exploring Idaho. 

 

I cannot tell you that this year will not have some speed bumps and unexpected curves but I can promise you that I will do my best to help you and your child navigate them so that we can have the best year possible.
